About Stainless Steel Foot Valve
Leveraging on our robust infrastructural set up, we have been able to manufacture and supply a broad range of Stainless Steel Foot Valve. The offered valve is generally used in conjunction with suction pumps to maintain pressure in a plumbing system while keeping out solids which could gum up the works. This can be used for many systems where a liquid needs to be pumped from a lower level holding area. Our clients can avail this Stainless Steel Foot Valve from us in various technical specifications at market leading price. Features: - High heat tolerance
- Sturdy construction
- Optimum strength

| PRINCIPLE OF Stainless Steel Foot Valve |
RUMAX has involved in a reinforced rubber coated ball to arrest flow media in return condition. This ball moves totally out of the flow path when the pumping is on, to give minimum head losses (see Figure). The spherical rubber coated ball seals perfectly on the rounded valve seat ensuring a totally leak proof sealing.

Superior Corrosion Resistance and DurabilityCrafted from high-grade stainless steel 304/316, this foot valve offers outstanding protection against corrosion and wear. Its robust construction ensures longevity, even in demanding environments involving water, oil, or other non-corrosive fluids. The polished or matte finish further enhances resistance to harsh conditions, making it an excellent choice for industrial and commercial applications.
Easy Installation and Versatile ConnectionsThe foot valve features BSP/NPT threaded or flanged end connections, allowing for straightforward integration into a variety of pipeline systems. Its vertical installation design and range of available port sizes (1 inch to 6 inches) guarantee compatibility with diverse setups. Minimal opening pressure and manual operation simplify use and maintenance, saving both time and effort on site.
Optimal Performance in Multiple ApplicationsIdeally suited for water supply, irrigation, and industrial pipelines, the valve is engineered for effective non-return flow. Its screen mesh prevents debris entry, while the spring-loaded check mechanism ensures reliable backflow prevention. With low maintenance needs and easy cleaning capability, this valve supports continuous, trouble-free service across numerous fluid handling scenarios.
FAQs of Stainless Steel Foot Valve:
Q: How does the stainless steel foot valve with screen mesh work in water supply systems?
A: The stainless steel foot valve relies on its spring-loaded, non-return mechanism to permit fluid movement in only one direction, preventing backflow in water supply systems. Its screen mesh helps filter out debris, ensuring smooth operation and protecting downstream equipment.
Q: What are the key benefits of installing this foot valve in irrigation or industrial pipelines?
A: Key benefits include robust corrosion resistance, durable stainless steel construction, minimal maintenance requirements, and effective non-return (check) functionality. Its design helps reduce wear on pumps and extends the operational life of the pipeline system.
Q: When should a vertical installation be chosen for this type of valve?
A: A vertical installation is recommended for situations where the flow direction is upward and where debris exclusion and backflow prevention at a pipelines intake are critical. This ensures optimal valve performance and longevity.
Q: Where can this stainless steel foot valve be used besides water and irrigation systems?
A: Apart from water supply and irrigation, the valve is also suitable for oil handling and non-corrosive liquid media in industrial processes, thanks to its robust materials and reliable sealing system.
Q: What is the process for cleaning and maintaining this foot valve?
A: Routine maintenance involves simple removal and cleaning of the screen mesh to ensure it is free from clogs. The valves low-maintenance design allows for easy disassembly and reassembly, keeping downtime to a minimum.
Q: How does the valves construction contribute to its durability and performance?
A: Constructed from stainless steel 304/316, featuring a spring-loaded mechanism, and sealed with high-quality rubber gaskets or EPDM, the valve is resistant to corrosion and mechanical wear, delivering reliable performance over more than 50,000 cycles.
